Getting started
Sign in, choose your module, open the dashboard
expand_more

TRAKON runs in your browser, nothing to install for everyday users. You sign in to the platform portal, pick the module you want, connect your reader (the Bridge) on first use, and land on the module’s Dashboard.

  1. Open the Platform Portal and sign in with your Tenant Code, Email and Password.
  2. On Your Modules, click Enter on TRAKON Guard Basic. (Switch language EN / 中文 / 日本語 / 한국어 at the top-right.)
  3. First time on a station: connect the Bridge so the RFID readers work, see Connect the Bridge.
  4. You land on the Dashboard: a live Live Alerts snapshot, a Risk Posture row (Unhandled alerts, Critical / High-risk / Normal assets), Top assets by alert count, an alert-activity chart, and a Recent activity stream.
  5. The left sidebar has your day-to-day screens on top (Dashboard, Live Alerts, Alert History, Assets, Egress Approvals, Audit Trail) and a Set up group below (Asset Categories, Checkpoints, Hardware, Locations, Users).
lightbulbGuard protects by default. The moment an asset is entered and has a tag, it is protected, it raises an alert on any unapproved exit.

Connect the reader (network and power)
Plug in the cables before you start the Bridge
expand_more

Before the software can see a reader, the reader has to be powered and on the network. The AZ-T1C/G2 reader has a short cable that breaks out into a few connectors, and you use two of them.

  1. AZ-T1C/G2 (ceiling reader): plug one end of the network cable into the reader's RJ45 (Ethernet) jack, and the other end into the PC that runs Bridge, or into a switch on the same network as that PC. Plug the power adapter into the round DC power jack. Once it has power, the light strips come on.
  2. Put the reader on the same local network as the PC that runs the Bridge. The Bridge discovers the G2 over the local Ethernet, and the G2 then opens a TCP connection back to the Bridge on port 8160.
  3. The DB9 serial connector is a factory service and configuration port. Keep it disconnected during installation and everyday use, setup, discovery and repair all run over Ethernet.
  4. AZD-R1 (desktop reader): just plug its USB cable into the Bridge PC. It is bus powered, so it needs no separate power supply.
lanNo manual IP setup. On the first run as administrator, the Bridge picks the wired network adapter, adds the local IP it needs and configures the firewall by itself. Windows showing an unidentified network on that port is normal, and the PC can keep using Wi-Fi for the internet.
boltConnect and power the reader first, then start the Bridge, so the Bridge can find it. If you add or move a reader, power it before opening the Bridge.

Connect the Bridge
One-time setup, and choosing which reader to use
expand_more

The Bridge is a small app on the station PC that links your ACCUZ® readers to TRAKON. Guard supports two reader roles: the AZ-T1C/G2 ceiling reader for exit protection, and the AZD-R1 desktop reader for binding tags. A Bridge connects to one reader at a time.

admin_panel_settingsFirst run on a new computer: you must start the Bridge as administrator. Right-click AccuzBridge.exe first, then in the menu that appears choose Run as administrator. The order matters: right-click first, then find and click Run as administrator in the list. Once the tray dot turns green and the Hardware page shows READER CONNECTED, later runs can be started normally with a double-click.
  1. Open your ACCUZ® Bridge folder and run the AccuzBridge app, the ACCUZ® Bridge Setup window opens.
  2. Leave Setup Mode on SaaS enrollment code, the Platform URL is already filled.
  3. Enter your Enrollment Code (received with your ACCUZ® hardware or subscription) and click Check Enrollment for a green ✓. Each new Bridge installation needs its own one-time enrollment code.
  4. Pick the reader you are using now, the AZ-T1C/G2 ceiling reader at a door, or the AZD-R1 desktop reader for binding, then Save & Start Bridge.
  5. One reader at a time: a Bridge connects to one reader. To switch between the AZ-T1C/G2 ceiling reader (for checkpoints) and the AZD-R1 desktop reader (for binding tags), reopen the Bridge setup, pick the other reader, and Save & Start Bridge to reconnect. Switching also requires that your current enrollment covers the target reader.
  6. A green dot in the tray means connected. Open the Hardware page (labeled TRAKON DEVICE) to see Bridge Info, Reader Info (READER CONNECTED) and Controls (Power dBm, Buzzer, Scan Interval).
lightbulbA reader only appears in the checkpoint list once the Bridge has seen it broadcast, so connect the Bridge before creating checkpoints.

If the G2 does not connect. Troubleshooting only, this is not part of a normal install:

  1. Confirm the G2 has power and its Ethernet cable is connected.
  2. Wait for the Bridge to retry automatically. If the tray stays yellow and the reader stays disconnected, right-click the ACCUZ® Bridge tray icon.
  3. Select Repair G2 Connection..., read the warning, and confirm.
  4. Repair discovers exactly one G2, backs up its current callback target, and repairs the callback IP and port that point at this PC.
  5. Wait for G2 Repair Complete, then confirm a green tray dot or READER CONNECTED on the Hardware page.
buildUse Repair after moving a G2 to another computer, or when its saved callback address was changed by another utility. Repair does not change the reader's own IP, RFID power, SaaS enrollment, tags or checkpoints. Do not run it while the reader is already connected.

Set up: users, locations, categories
The Set up group at the bottom of the sidebar
expand_more

Before daily use, prepare three things in the Set up group: the people who sign in, the site’s locations, and the categories your assets fall into.

  1. Users: create the accounts that sign in (roles: admin, supervisor, operator). Use Search and the Role filter, + Add User to create one, and Edit / Deactivate per row.
  2. Locations: build your site tree. + Add Location with a Code, Name, Type (zone / building / floor / room), Parent Location, Display Order and Description.
  3. Asset Categories: + Add category with a Name, optional Description, and a Sort order (lower number sorts higher in dropdowns). Categories organize and filter assets.
lightbulbDo locations before checkpoints and assets, a checkpoint attaches to a location, and an asset can be given one too.

Checkpoints
Link a location and a reader, and name the door
expand_more

A checkpoint is a monitored door or gate. It links a Location you already built to a reader, and gives it a name. Once Armed, a protected asset passing it without an approval raises an alert.

  1. Open Checkpoints and click + Add checkpoint.
  2. Reader ID: choose a reader the system has already observed scanning, or type its broadcast ID (for example az-t1c-g2-001). This is the ID reported on scan, not the device code.
  3. Name it (for example EXIT or Front Door) and pick the Location it covers. Add optional notes for staff.
  4. A saved checkpoint is Armed. Use Edit / Disable / Delete from the row.
lightbulbOne reader per door or gate. Connect the Bridge first so the reader shows up in the observed list.

Register & protect assets
Every asset is protected by default
expand_more

Register the assets you want to protect and bind an RFID tag to each. There is no protect switch, an asset with a tag is protected from that moment.

  1. Open Assets and click + Register asset. Enter an Asset code and Name, a Risk level (Normal / High / Critical), and an optional Location and Category.
  2. The Risk level sets the severity of any alert this asset raises, a Critical asset raises a Critical alert.
  3. Bind RFID: click the Bind RFID icon on the row, present the tag to the AZD-R1 desktop reader (the EPC is captured automatically) or type it, then confirm. The asset now shows an Active tag and is protected.
  4. Use Filter by risk / location / category, or Bulk import (CSV) to add many assets at once.
lightbulbBind tags on the AZD-R1 desktop reader (connect the Bridge to it first). The ceiling reader is for guarding exits, not binding.

Live Alerts
Watch unapproved exits and handle each one
expand_more

Live Alerts is your real-time watch screen. Columns are Severity · Type · Asset · Checkpoint · EPC · Status · Seen count · Last seen · Actions. Filter by Open / Closed, Severity, zone and rule, and toggle Sound on.

  1. Each row has five action icons: View detail, Acknowledge, Silence reader, Resolve, Dismiss.
  2. View detail opens a panel with the asset, checkpoint, EPC, reader, RSSI, first / last seen, seen count, event ID and raw details.
  3. Acknowledge = “I’m on it” (stays open). Resolve = a genuine event you handled (reason optional). Dismiss = a false positive (reason required, it feeds rule tuning).
  4. Silence reader mutes that reader’s hardware alarm for 5 minutes without closing alerts. A Reader Muted banner shows a countdown, with Extend 5 min and Unmute reader.
  5. Unmuting only releases the mute, existing open alerts will not re-trigger the alarm, normal alarming resumes on the next fresh tag read.

Egress Approvals
Let a specific asset leave silently
expand_more

Use Egress Approvals to let an asset leave legitimately (a demo, a repair, a loan). While an approval is active, that asset passes its checkpoint silently and does not appear in Live Alerts.

  1. Open Egress Approvals and click + New approval.
  2. Pick the Asset, set Valid from and Valid until (defaults to now + 4 hours; approvals start immediately, future start times are not supported in this version), and enter a required Reason.
  3. Click Create. Tabs are Active / Expired / Cancelled. View detail shows the window, reason, approver and Source: manual, Cancel moves it to Cancelled.
lightbulbApprove before the asset leaves. The silent pass is still logged in the Audit Trail as rule.approval_suppressed.

Alert History
Review closed alerts
expand_more

Alert History lists closed alerts (Resolved + Dismissed). Columns are First seen · Last seen · Severity · Status · Type · Asset · Seen count · Actions.

  1. Filter by status, severity, zone and rule, and use Export CSV to download the list.
  2. Up to the 100 most recently active alerts are shown, most recent first. Broader date-range querying arrives in a later phase.

Audit Trail
An immutable log of everything that happened
expand_more

Audit Trail records every system and operator action. Columns are Timestamp · Actor · Action · Resource · Metadata. Filter by Resource type, Action, a date range, or search reader_id / EPC / id, with Reset filters and Export CSV.

  1. Events include rule.approval_suppressed (an approved asset passed silently), egress_approval.created, and alert.silenced (a reader muted).
  2. And the hardware events: alert.hardware_alarm_sent (the alarm command dispatched), alert.hardware_alarm_suppressed_by_reader_mute, and reader_mute.unmuted.
lightbulbBecause every acknowledge, resolve, dismiss, mute, approval and hardware dispatch is recorded, this is where you reconstruct exactly what happened and who did it.

Hardware & tags
Two readers, and the tags on your assets
expand_more

Guard supports two reader roles through the Bridge, one connected at a time, plus UHF RFID tags on your assets.

  1. AZ-T1C/G2 ceiling reader, mounted above a door or gate for exit protection. It detects protected assets leaving and triggers the local alarm through the relay output.
  2. AZD-R1 desktop reader, on the desk for binding tags to assets before they go into service.
  3. The Hardware page (TRAKON DEVICE) shows the connected Bridge, Bridge Info, Reader Info and Controls (Power dBm, Buzzer, Scan Interval), with a Refresh button.
  4. Assets carry UHF RFID (EPC Gen2) tags, sized to the item.
