Connect the Bridge
One-time setup so the desktop reader can bind tags
expand_more

The Bridge is a small app that runs on the station PC and links your ACCUZ® desktop RFID reader to TRAKON. In Count Basic the desktop reader is used mainly to bind tags at registration, bulk counting and locate run on the handheld (next section). Do this once per station. (This step is the same for every module.)

  1. Open your ACCUZ® Bridge folder and double-click the AccuzBridge application, the ACCUZ® Bridge Setup window opens.
  2. Leave Setup Mode on SaaS enrollment code. The Platform URL is already filled (https://app.trakon.ai).
  3. Enter your Enrollment Code, you receive this after buying ACCUZ® hardware or subscribing to the software. (It’s the only field you must type.)
  4. Module, leave Auto from enrollment (recommended). If it doesn’t resolve, pick count-basic.
  5. Click Check Enrollment. A green ✓ (“Enrollment will be redeemed when you Save”) means the code is valid.
  6. Under Desktop RFID Reader, pick your Reader Model, Count Basic uses AZD-R1, and set Connection to USB.
  7. Optional, Zebra label printer. Tick Enable Zebra RFID label printer to reveal a Printer Connection choice (USB print only, TCP/IP Print & Bind, or USB P&B); for TCP/IP enter the Printer IP and Port (e.g. 192.168.1.100 : 9100). Tick Start automatically with Windows to launch the Bridge on every boot.
  8. Click Save & Start Bridge. A small dot appears in the Windows tray (bottom-right): yellow = Bridge running, green = Bridge connected to the software.
  9. Confirm in the app: open Hardware, the device shows Connected with your reader, Bridge version and live controls. Not showing? Click Refresh.

Connect the ACCUZ® Mobility handheld (AZH-P1)
The handheld you sweep shelves and locate items with
expand_more

Spot checks and Locate run on the ACCUZ® AZH-P1 handheld reader through the ACCUZ® Mobility app. Unlike the desktop reader, the handheld talks to the platform directly, no Bridge, and keeps itself in sync over its own connection (a REST heartbeat).

  1. On the AZH-P1, open ACCUZ® Mobility. On the activation screen, enter the Activation Code and the device’s Reader ID, then tap Activate. (The code is issued with your subscription, like the Bridge enrollment code.)
  2. Sign in with your TRAKON account. The handheld shows its modules, open Spot Check.
  3. Back in the web app, open Hardware, the AZH-P1 appears as Connected on the MOBILITY platform. (It heartbeats over REST, so there’s no Windows tray dot like the Bridge.)
  4. The handheld is now ready to receive spot-check and locate tasks dispatched from the web (see Spot Checks and Locate).

Register an asset & bind its RFID tag
Two quick steps: create the record, then bind a tag
expand_more

Registering is two steps. First you create the asset record. Then you bind an RFID tag to it, the tag is not assigned automatically, you choose how to bind it.

Step A, create the record. On the Assets page click + Add and fill in the form:

  1. Enter an Asset Code (e.g. AZ-004) and a Name.
  2. Pick a Category (e.g. hand tool) and an optional Department.
  3. Choose a Location from your location hierarchy, then click Save.

  1. Scan from Reader (recommended), place a single tag on the desktop reader (AZD-R1) and press its read button; the EPC fills in automatically. Click Bind.
  2. Manual Input, type the EPC code by hand, then Bind.
  3. Print & Bind, print the label on a Zebra printer and bind in one step.

Run a Spot Check
Sweep a zone, reconcile found / missing / unexpected
expand_more

A spot check compares a physical sweep against the registry. You scope it in the web app, dispatch it to a handheld, sweep with the AZH-P1, then reconcile the results back in the web app.

Step A, create the check (web).

  1. On Spot Checks, click New Spot Check. Give it a Title and a Scope, the whole warehouse or a specific Location. TRAKON builds the Expected list from the registry. Click Create, the check appears as Pending.

  2. When done, tap Complete, the result syncs back and the handheld shows Check Complete.

Locate dispatches a single asset to the handheld and guides you to it by RSSI signal strength (stronger = closer). There are two ways in:

  2. From the Assets list / asset detail, click Locate on any asset. The dialog is Locate Asset → Send Locate Task.

Either way, the dialog lets you pick the Send to device (your AZH-P1) and a Search timeout (default 5 minutes). Because the handheld doesn’t auto-switch, ask the operator to refresh the task list and open Locate within the window (300s).
